
Sydney is a filmmaker and researcher interested in the quiet, personal narratives that illuminate larger truths about how we live.
With roots in research and nonprofit advocacy and fundraising, she approaches her filming with curiosity, care and a deep commitment to the social impact of her films.
Sydney is currently an MFA Documentary Film candidate at UCLA.
She holds a MSc in International Migration and Public Policy from London School of Economics, a BSc in Chemistry and a BA in Liberal Arts Honors from University of Texas at Austin. ​​​​​​

At the moment, Sydney is working on a short documentary, "Before we Forget", about languages that get lost across generations. The film focuses on her own family and the loss of Creole French.
